Project Tracking System
The Project Tracking System was created to know the status of a project from conceptualization, programming, funding, implementation, completion and operation.

The specific objectives of the system are:
1) to provide real-time information on the overall status of a project vis-à-vis its project development cycle;
2) to facilitate investment programming, budgeting, implementation, problem solving and impact evaluation; and
3) to provide adequate information to decision makers, implementers, stakeholders, and the general public on the status of a project.

The system covers all projects with different levels of preparedness. These may be project ideas, proposals, pre-investment studies, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies or pipeline projects. On-going and completed projects are also included in the system. The project tracking has two sub-systems. These are the sub-system for proposed projects and the sub-system for monitoring on-going and completed projects.
The system begins with the inputting of data upon inclusion of the project in the Regional Development Investment Program. Comprehensive project profiles converted into data fields are inputted into the system. As the project progresses within its cycle, the project profile is updated. When a proposed project is implemented it goes to the project monitoring sub-system.
Data for project profile updating comes from project proponents. The project development division handles data inputting for all proposed projects. Data for on-going and completed projects come from the submitted reports under the regional project monitoring and evaluation system.
