RDC PSRs hold year-end assessment and planning activity

The Regional Development Council private sector representatives (PSRs) held a year-end assessment and planning activity on January 21 to 22 at Avenue Plaza Hotel in Naga City. Ten out of fifteen PSRs attended the activity, together with the NEDA regional director and staffs.

The PSRs assessed their participation and accomplishments in the RDC in 2014 and identified areas for improvement and specific recommendations. They prioritized the private sector agenda for 2015 and agreed on the next steps and action plan to comply with the 5th PSRs national convention agreements.

NEDA Regional Director Agnes Espinas thanked the PSRs for their enthusiasm and active participation in RDC activities. She cited the work of the PSRs in the RDC as volunteer work in pursuit of regional development and encouraged them to continue building on the partnership with the government. On the part of the RDC secretariat, she promised full support in all initiatives and undertakings of the private sector that will boost regional development efforts.
