Qualification Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job (preferably BS/AB Economics, BS Development Communication, BS Communication Arts, BS Information Systems, BS Statistics, Environmental Science and other related courses).

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Division Chief and he/she assists the Development Research Division in one or more of the following areas:

  • Collects and tabulates data statistics needed in planning, investment programming, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Maintains a systematic record and data storage system to have data and records available;
  • Undertakes preliminary analyses of data relevant to the preparation of plans, economic reports, and studies for development projects in the region;
  • Assists in the conduct of specific studies on regional development;
  • Provides technical assistance/services to line agencies, local government units, non-government agencies, state universities and colleges and other regional bodies and provides secretariat support to the Regional Development Council; and
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate superiors.
